skin care

While facials, toners, and exfoliators all serve an important purpose in skin care, one of the most important—and, too often, unheeded—skin care tips is to drink plenty of water. By starting on the inside and fueling your body with what it needs, you’ll indirectly create the smooth, clear, radiant skin to which we all aspire. Many experts believe that drinking at least eight glasses of water a day helps to prevent dry skin.

Staying hydrated also helps to flush toxins from the body; if those toxins are allowed to build up, they escape through the pores of the skin and can potentially cause acne. By combining proper hydration with a responsible skin care regimen and anti-aging behaviors, such as everyday sun protection, you’ll be more likely to achieve the youthful, glowing complexion you want.
