Nursery Décor: Preparing Baby's Room
<< Previous | 3 of 8 | Next >>
creating a dreamy nursery

During your pregnancy, you will most likely be focused on your health, wanting to give your baby the best start in life by being the healthiest you possible. But while you’re focusing on being as healthy as possible for your baby, don’t forget to prepare your nursery decor for the day you bring baby home from the hospital.

For baby’s nursery, you’ll need a crib, a mattress, crib sheet, blankets, changing table and a small dresser for baby clothes and accessories. For the crib, make sure the slats aren’t more than 2.4 inches wide, so the baby’s head won’t get trapped between them. Also, be sure to look for a crib that has been painted with lead-free paint. While you’ll want to buy some cute stuffed animals for the nursery, don’t forget that these are popular baby gifts so you will probably have some coming your way once the baby is born. You don’t want the nursery inundated by teddy bears, as cute as they are!
