An Inexpensive Mini-Makeover for Your Home
<< Previous | 4 of 9 | Next >>
houseplants

House plants are a budget-wise way to give your home a mini-makeover. Also, there are many types that are hardy and require little maintenance. You can choose house plants that just offer greenery or house plants that flower. Some of the most popular house plants for greenery are baby rubber plants which clean impurities from the air, cast iron plants which, true to their name, are resilient and only need watering every eight to ten days, and ponytail palms which can grow up to five feet tall. Some of the most popular house plants that flower are African violets which only need to be watered every other day in winter, Christmas (holiday) cactus which can have red, orange, pink or white flowers, and gloxinia which have big, beautiful flowers.
