You've decorated the house and yard, but you want to add some really special touches for your big holiday party. You need to find some ideas for Christmas party decorations that will just blow your guests away. What are a few things you can you do to really make the place look great?
One thing you may want to take a look at is that mound of presents for the family. If you have too many gifts to tuck under the tree, you probably have them stacked off to the side in a neat pile or tucked behind the sofa. Instead, pull them out and let people enjoy their beautiful wrappings. Stack a group of gifts into a Christmas tree shape for a grown up Christmas party or make a train engine shape for a party that includes the kids.
Another idea you may want to consider is highlighting special ornaments. Place a bowl or a cake stand on a sideboard and arrange a few family heirlooms on it.
If you have some bigger items, why not arrange a group of very different ornaments that are the same color on your fireplace mantle?
Don’t forget your walls. You may want to take down artwork that clashes with your seasonal decor. Use that newly empty space to add more Christmas cheer to your home with holiday wreaths or swags. |
