Be Patient With Your Kids
Although there are plenty of ways you can encourage your child to take that next developmental step, sometimes she’s just got to be ready to make the leap on her own. My daughter clung to me every single morning when I dropped her off at Pre-K this past year—even though she loved school—and she’s often timid about trying new things. Yet when she started day camp yesterday, she jumped on that yellow bus with a wave and a smile.
