Your pregnancy health is about a lot more than just taking your prenatal vitamin—although be sure to take those, they are important! It’s a comprehensive, holistic approach to your health, just like before you got pregnant and just like after you deliver your baby. Get plenty of rest and take naps during the day if you're not getting enough sleep at night. Don’t smoke and avoid areas where there is secondhand smoke, neither you nor your baby needs the exposure to either kind of smoke. Eat healthy meals spaced out throughout the day and get plenty of fluids, at least eight glasses of water a day. Other healthy fluids include milk and 100-percent juice. Get adequate exercise as it will maintain your overall health and also make the delivery easier.
